Napolino's on 301 near route 462 has great pizza. their pastas are very good as well.

We haven’t been to this place since it was Chefs of Napoli. Do you know if it’s same owners and menu?

As I remember from Chefs, their pizza had a decent flavor near the crust, but the rest was a soggy, limp, grease shingle.

Absolutely agree about Francesco's. My mother lives in Summerfield and we go there regularly. Two-for-one drinks everyday is another plus.:beer3:

Love Little Joeys pizza. But it's a long ride from the village of Charlotte. My wife will still send me there occasionally.

It may be the difference between a restaurant and a grocery store. Grocery stores sell lots of uncooked food, but restaurants are only supposed to sell cooked food.

Guess haven’t been to Murphy’s pizza? All there pizza’s are half cooked and you finish baking it at home.

Exactly. It's never as good.

I'll keep that in mind if I want to eat quiche. Personally, I prefer pizza, the kind you can only get in NY, the way God intended pizza to be made:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Little Joey's is great but I also like the take out and cook yourself pizza from Sam's Club.

"Authentic style" New York pizza isn't double-stuffed. Ever.

We had someone bring in NYPD pizza when I was working here last year. It was acceptable. It wasn't "good." Giovanni's at Wedgewood (Southern Trace area) was pretty close though. I'd rate it "good" where "good" is less than "excellent" or "perfect" and better than "decent," "tolerable," "acceptable," "worse than Little Caesar's"

If you don't have an actual pizza oven that it typically at 700-800° and use filtered, remineralized water, it won't ever come out as good.

Little Joey’s is a very good dine-in restaurant as well. Lots of loyal regular diners, very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Lots of people order their pizza as a dine-in choice.

Our pizza stone does a good job to reheat pizza and does an ok job for raw pizza from Aldi or Sams (both second or third rate), however for a from scratch pie just not the same.

We've been going to Little Joey's for many years

We're from CT and missed the type of pizza we had up north until we went to Little Joey's! In our experience, Bravo's is good too.

Pepe's pizza and Sally's in New Haven CT the best! Jerry's Apizza in Bridgeport was so long ago & greatly missed!

Winn-Dixie at Pinellas has genuine double zero Imported Italian flour. The ONLY flour to make pizza.
