I know many gourmands will balk at my recommendation but I find that prime rib medium rare is a delight at TEXAS ROADHOUSE. Nice size with just a few bites left for my doggo. They do my beef right. Hubby likes their catfish. Not sure how they are lately but they are my favorite for steaks and prime rib. Never had a bad meal there yet.

That’s the answer.

When I was in my 20s very overweight I used to dine at Captain PJs in Somerest, Ma. They had 3 cuts of prime rib. The large cut was called the Captains cut it was a double rib. The caption under the Capt’s cut read “ you will be embarrassed.” I ordered it one time and and YUP I was embarrassed everyone in the restaurant looked to see who was ordering such a large cut of meat. That cut could have served 4 adults, I never did order it again.

Twin Oaks in Rhode Island....... always had an excellent meal whenever I went there. Archie's in Pawtucket??? I heard that they were good, but all I remember is when they found rats in the kitchen. (Were they really serving "prime rib"?)

I like the one at Longhorn Steak House, and it is available all day every day.

We have been most of the CC and it is all the same and not high end. Best we have found is fisherman's. It is a hole in the wall but great prime rib. They only serve it by calling ahead and making a reservation.

Texas Roadhouse (in front of Home Depot on 441), the Chop House at Lake Sumter … totally different ambience but both are yummy!

Two out of five times it was good. twice barely edible, once returned it. Not good odds.

Hope your not still cooking with “vegetable” oil, fatty meat was given a bad rap years ago by the processed food industry….only to be vindicated recently by the Keto clan….before our ancestors became farmers that’s all we ate…..
