Default Red Sauce catered meal

I attended a club Christmas party last weekend. The meal was catered by Red Sauce and I was more than impressed. The food was excellent, the desert was Tiramisu and that was out of this world, and the wait staff they sent along with the meal was very accommodating. Very impressed, but we were then told this is the last year Red Sauce will be catering parties.

I also attended a club Christmas party last weekend catered by Red Sauce. Dinner was a big disappointment to many. Overwhelming pepper used on veggies, food not hot, dessert (which was brownies and chocolate chip cookies) were burnt and hard. Have had their catering service before and it was good but this time was terrible.

I know absolutely nothing about the catering business, but I am assuming they have set meals with set price per head. My friend was in charge of the meal and she and the other committee person went to Red Sauce several times to check things out. We had an excellent salad with romaine as the base, Chicken Marsala, white fish filet, and a pasta in their vodka sauce. Very good crusty rolls and butter. As I said in my original post the Tirimisu was excellent, it must have been 2" square and about 3" in depth, I was really surprised at the quality of the meal and the dessert. Cha, I hope yours is as good.

Funny. I only went once to Red Sauce, did not like their red sauce. Everyone has different taste.

Wow, based on what people (current employees especially) are writing on facebook, I wonder if they will honor ANYTHING? Sounds like the new owner (current owner of Johnny Rockets) has walked in and made many changes to the dissatisfaction of the current staff and people are quitting because of it. Perhaps we should start a new thread on the changing of ownership of Redsauce???

Don't want to bash them yet. Nobody likes change.
We'll have to see what happens and how it plays out.

We have always liked Red Sauce, but I would not be upset if I could get a Johnny Rockets burger, onion rings and a shake there too
