Not gormet but that's not why I go there. It's a greasy spoon and I enjoy it occasionally.

We have eaten at Ramshackles many times without incident.....except there was an incident on the porch. I have never noticed a smell and my husband always says that I have a nose like a beagle. I especially enjoy their fish tacos. They never write our order down but it's always correct, even with as many as 8 at the table. The incident on the porch was a prostitute soliciting customers. They called the police because she was lifting her shirt. The police came, talked to her and escorted her off the property.

On another note, my wife Sharon and I had a very nice lunch next to the water at Gator Joe's.

I have been there a few times and nothing bad happened. Not a slum! It's a biker bar. Fun folks were with us, had a good time.

1) not a slum ?
2) biker bar 3) smells like urine 4) prostitution 5) bills itself as ramshackle 6) car may get stolen 7) smells disgusting Pick 2, any 2, good reasons not to eat there. All opinions are valid, regardless of attitude. TOTV=discussion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I totally agree on the bathrooms. They could remodel the two and make one good size one that would accommodate wheel chairs. I often wondered how a person in a wheel chair would go to the bathroom.
We have had one bad experience there due to an improperly trained waitress but have had about 15 other visits there that were excellent. It is definitely not the Ritz but I love their grilled wings and many other things on the menu like the burger. |

Bit of trivia... the building used to house a Howard Johnson's.

I enjoyed HJ as a child. We would eat there on Easter and other special occasions. The last time I ate there was the day my mother was buried in 1986. I invited all her close friends to enjoy a good meal with my wife and myself. Good memories at Ho Jo’s for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
