Default Redsauce

When they first opened we tried it a few times but we didn't care for the hot pepper seasoning they seemed to add to there sauces so we went elsewhere. Fast forward...

Went last week for lunch with my son and daughter in law. They had salads that they loved I had the Rigatoni bolognese which was excellent. We liked it so much we went back the next day and I had Fettucini carbonara which was also excellent ( I added a touch of salt) they had the salads again. I wanted my wife to try it so we went back a few days later and she had the Rigatoni bolognese and a side salad I had the Orecchiette which was excellent!
Coming from an Italian restaurant family I'll admit i'm somewhat critical and not easily impressed but Redsauce is our go to pasta place for now....

I agree. We went a while back and did not like it either but went back recently and found it had greatly improved.

We have not been to Redsauce since Thanksgiving around 2008 or 2009 but will have to try it again. One of the owners at that time used to come to the dog park almost every morning and she would talk about what it is like to run a restaurant. The ordering of food for the next day and the like.

They sold the restaurant to someone else.

We ate there a couple weeks ago and we enjoyed it. The sauce had a slight kick to it but notheringover powering. We will go back.

We stopped going several months ago, just seemed to be going downhill for awhile. Maybe time to try again?

Paying attention to this praise. We will try again too.

We LOVED Sammy's on 301 across from the Chefs of Napoli.

My wife and I also love RedSauce, it is our go to place when guests visit. Also love the Bolognese sauce.

Thumbs down Last Time

We just used Red Sauce for the very last time. A few months ago we ordered a White Clam dinner to go and it had more sand in it than the Atlantic Ocean so stopped going. Decided yesterday to give it another try. Called in and ordered a Chicken Dinner. They said it would be about 30 minutes. Waited and drove to the restaurant and went in expecting the dinner to be ready. One of the many waiters hanging out at the "Sign up Counter" asked if he could help me and I said yes that I was there to pick up a dinner. He said he would go get it. I waited another 20 minutes for him to return and he told me the order had not been placed in the computer and it would be 15-30 minutes. Net: They are not a good source for service or food. Will never go back. It appears they converted their Restaurant into a bar and catchall for Tourists. They may be making so much money on liquor that food and service is just not that important any longer.

Sad to hear that. I hope that they look at Talk of the Villages and will try to do better.
