OK, here's a comment: I loved to eat at cafeterias, especially Luby's in Texas. Everything cooked from scratch. Desserts to die for. Cafeterias were a feature of the South, but I guess they're gone for good.

The worst buffets are on cruise ships. I have seen foreigners ( I won't say which countries but one begins with a C and the other one with an I ) reach in with their bare hands, or take a piece on a serving spoon, sniff it, then put it back...and don't even get me started on the soft serve ice cream machine at the back with all the little urchins rubbing their hands all over...if I do go on a cruise it will be table service only for me.

I have never given flu season even half a thought. I've never had a flu shot and have never had the flu. To be honest, until this latest pandemic, I never knew people died from the flu. Honestly did not know!!!
