Default Looking for a really nice restaurant

My in laws will be soon celebrating their 60th anniversary. I am looking for a really nice place to have their celebration dinner. I want it to be somewhere special and there will be about 8 people. Anyone have any place they really love (kind of dressy) here in TV?

Vic Embers is an excellent choice. Lopez's here in TV would also be an excellent choice IMHO.

We celebrated our 5th W.A. in Sept. with friends at Vic's and the evening was a special time with outstanding food, service and ambiance. They even had music to dance to. This was on a Friday evening. Looking forward to going back to celebrate #6 already.

I'm sure you'll get a lot of great suggestions, but you might like checking out the Villages Gorumet Club website where you'll find a lot of reviews and ratings.

I'd go to The Goblin Market in Mt. Dora.

First choice would be Vic's Embers. It is a first-rate place. Mention the 60 year anniversary and they will probably do something extra for the couple.

Second choice would be Nancy Lopez Club. Excellent service and excellent food. If anyone is in their Frequent Diner Club, you can make reservations with no problem.

Goblin Market - yuk. Overpriced and underpleasing.

Thank you all for such quick (and wonderful) suggestions. I have been to the website of Embers and it looks fantastic. Even the Gourmet club gave me tips on what to watch for. We are definitely going to give it a try as it looks like just the ambiance we are looking for even if it is a little pricey.

We'll look forward to your response after the event
