Sure. We liked it. What made you think of it?

I remember, and we never went because of the reviews were average at best.

Speckled Butterbean in Wildwood

Here's another question, what was the name of the bar that took it's place for about 2 years? I think it was Irish and we went there a few times and liked it. We don't use our cart for anything other than golf, but I think because it wasn't golf cart accessible it didn't survive but then Brownwood came along. When it first opened the place was packed, and they had a Baltimore Ravens TV room in the back, really neat place.

O'Sheas lasted about 9 months. Very nice but naive owner. Some bartenders were making $500 a night in tips. The owner wanted to open a pizza place in The Villages, then wanted to take over Havana when it was failing. The commercial arm of the developer wouldn't deal with him because of inexperience. Now we understand a little more why the same (but successful) businesses open multiple locations in The Villages.
As for Speckled Butterbean, it was decent. I think it went south due to a divorce.

I went there a few times when I first moved here back in 2012. I enjoyed it. I also went to o'sheas ? I remember the fish and chips were decent. I miss smaller locally owned restaurants.

O'Shea's was a great place to watch Football. Good wings, great beer. Still see the owner around TV. I think before it was the Butterbean, it was a Sonny's, then Sonny's moved to LSL after the steak house closed there.

We liked it. It was on the corner of 44 and Signature Drive.
