Default Support the Local Restaurants

The stories I am hearing of the amount of people being laid off from the local restaurants is really disheartening. I have spoken to an owner of a very popular place that says his gross is 30% of what it usually is and he has had to lay off staff that have been with him for many years. Most of us would have been going out to eat at least a few times a week no matter what. These restaurants are trying to survive and to provide a service for the people here through takeout and delivery. Support these places during this time or risk them not even being open when this is over. That would leave a huge void in this community. Even though we have plenty of food in the house and we usually really don't go out all that often we have made it a point to order out or have delivered at least one meal a day and to tip them well. Please do the same for everybody's benefit.

Is everyone incapable of feeding themselves? We have stoves and microwaves. Let’s use them.

If you want to help out safer to just send a check to be shared with owner and employees of that establishment and make your own meals for now....not that difficult, and safer..

Not me, and not in my home. All it takes is one sneeze.

I get enough sneezes standing in line at Winn Dixie with the other geezers.
