Mine is at Toojays on Wednesday nights.

I love the half a brisket sandwich with horseradish sauce and dill pickle on the side and their YUMMY, deeeee-lish-a-mus, Cabbage beef soup. The soup is laden with beef and a slighty sweet rich tomato broth and chunks and hunks of cabbage. To die for.

I think I should have been born Jewish.

TooJays is about as Jewish as I'm Mother Teresa. It's, at best, a "kosher style" deli but its far from the real thing.

There is nothing in TV that is worth raving about. Its just decent food catering to those who grew up in the hinterlands without the availability of true world-wide cuisine.

Love this thread...and see you at Toojays on Wednesday nights...have to try this sandwich.

My favorite meal is the Garden State Salad and cheese pizza at MezzaLuna. Ask then to cook the pizza so it's crispy on the bottom. The salad has lots of great flavor, with lots of tasty stuff in it.

Cane Garden also has good cornbeef and cabbage.
