SHRIMP & GRITS
Sautéed shrimp* and Andouille sausage in a Cajun low-country reduction with house-roasted
tomatoes, onions, peppers, corn and fresh herbs on Bob’s Red Mill Cheddar Parmesan cheese
grits. Served with artisan Ciabatta toast.

and one of my favorites........

CROQUE MADAME
Smoked ham, tomato, Gruyere cheese and Dijonnaise on grilled artisan brioche. Topped with
béchamel sauce, two cage-free, sunny-side up eggs* and fresh herbs.

OMG, thanks for that info. We're there. My husband's favorite lunch is a Croque Monsieur, which is a Croque Madame without the egg on top. Croque Madame is, like, a whole days' worth of food. Villages PL would not approve!

I can't confirm they have these items, but it is on their seasonal menu on their website. I intend to find out tomorrow.

Waiting with baited breath (whatever that means) to learn what you found. I could envision eating the shrimp & grits plus scarfing the eggs off DH's Croque Madame. Egad, the only food group left out is chocolate.

Default Chicken salad

If I'm going out to lunch, I like Chinken Salad Chick. All of their chicken salad is good and you might try the grape salad and the broccoli salad as a side. Makes my mouth water. Don't get there much because hubby doesn't care for it. Great service and great atmosphere.

Meatloaf Sicilian at Cane Garden -- excellent! I don't think I have eaten at McCalls; I will have to try McCalls when I visit in September.

I love this this thread!
