Red Sauce is very obviously not a joint like "Mel's Diner". As such, why would anyone think they should just plop down wherever they see an empty spot at Red Sauce? Some education regarding restaurant etiquette may be helpful, unless they are the same "special" types that would also engage in seat- saving at our squares. Some offenders are simply beyond help. We like Red Sauce and will not be affected by complaints like this. Inadvertently, this thread will probably benefit Red Sauce and favorably impress people who understand checking in and following protocol.

So residents feel justified complaining about those seat savers at the squares but a resident that complains about a restaurant practice of seat saving are ridiculed and called snooty or having an entitlement mentality. Hmmmm. This particular restaurant does not do Italian cuisine justice. Never has

Aleays seems to be busy, even in the off season.....so I guess not a bad place for the masses.

I frankly like the place and eat there at least once a week.
