Yes, I agree. VERY VERY GOOD! I especially like the gyro for lunch.

I'll have to take another look soon. After going there a couple of times a few years ago, I concluded that there were much better places for the money here in The Villages.

Thumbs up

Been there twice since we got here and enjoyed it both times.
Had a warm cozy feeling.
Eclair was great and it was green for St Paddy's Day.

We went to TDS yerterday for dinner and arrived at 5pm, only to be told that they were booked up for the night! We found out that they are one of the few restautants that take reservations.

Our friends have been bragging about their wonderful pot roast, but we'll have to try it another time.

So, if you want to go.........make reservations!

The new owner ran a very successful eatery in Bethel, CT for many years. Hr
has an excellent track record which portends well for TDS.

Angry Tierra Del Sol

Since the new owners took over I have been there twice and that is all it will be. We ordered the meatloaf for dinner and were told that the center would be soggy and that is the way it is prepared. OK so be it. The server placed the catsup and mustard on our table and when she bought the meatloaf it was covered with a lot of brown gravy. The center was soggy as warned but we were unprepared to have the gravy totally overpower the flavor of anything else on the plate. We had to remind the server that some vegetables were to be included with the meal. After some time she returned with some squash served in a soup cup. It was obvious that they were reheated after they had been on some kind of grill as they showed signs of being burned. All this and they were very soggy. I called attention of this to the server and got the great blank look, both from her and the hostess. The previous visit was no better than what the previous owned had presented and that wasn't all that great near the end.

I went today for the brunch buffet and was impressed. When I first got my plate and sat down, I was dissapointed because the food was cold. The server, Crystal, got the hostess and they removed all the cold food off the buffet table and replaced it with fresh hot food. It was wonderful and my husband's omlette was very good.
