Legal
Is it still legal to serve that monstrosity of a meal? I always thought it bordered child abused when I had to eat it as a kid. The organ in question filters the blood removing the poisons and impurities in your body…hmmm. Not my first choice for fine dining.
Do they serve that with an extra helping of bile? |
WebMD and MayoClinic are my trusted sourced for medical information. Here is what I found:
Beef liver is one the most nutrient rich foods on the planet, However, it is also very high in cholesterol and has a higher-than-normal risk of interaction with medications. I agree with some of the others. Yuck. I hated when my mom made it. Peanut butter and jelly for me. |
Orange Blossom restaurant has great liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans on Wednesdays.

My Mom used to cook liver & onions for my Dad.
Thankfully she never made us eat it. I do really like chopped liver! :icon_wink: |

TooJays in Brownwood has gotten really dirty over the last few months. I know they have had some serious staffing issues, but if they can’t even clean the dining room floor I don’t want to think how bad it is in the kitchen areas.
