I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. & Mrs. Chatbrat at Hemingways and we had a wonderful time chatting.

Hey! I got all gussied up and went to the Maisonette a couple of times. Once for a business dinner -- when I had to shove a coat hanger in my mouth and be a charming company wife -- hey! I could do that. And I went one other time -- on my 40th birthday......so long ago.....so very, very, very long ago.........(sigh).......but, I digress........

I can't remember what the other two 5-star were though.

The other two were Pigall's and The Gourmet Room on the top of the Hilton.

Thanks. I never made it to Pigall's but I do have some distant memory of being on top of the Hilton for something.

Yeah Boom. Notice how any mention of Cincinnati is ignored? They have never been there.

A snob is someone who thinks they are from a nicer place than Cincinnati.

Got rid of all the bling years ago, made me look like a pimp, got some very good watches and never wear them. the admiral has some very good big rocks, but she doesn't wear them often-don't advertise when you don't know the lay of the land- not worth having to resort to something you don't want to do to defend yourself- because you're wearing thug bait

25 Restaurants You Have To Visit In North Carolina

Some of these restaurants look pretty good. Ate at some Durham, NC place in late 1994 with the North Carolina Central University Law Librarian, a Criminal Law Professor, and a law student who was Top of Her Class but do not remember the name of the restaurant. Pretty good though and in downtown Durham. We had gone out for breakfast too but just to I-Hop or something like that and with another group of people.

And as to the " if you don't like it, take your money and leave " attitude expressed in this thread, how infantile need we be ? The fact of the matter is there are some institutions and facets of life which can be improved anywhere, and only by recognizing that will those improvements come to fruition.
Maybe its just the source...................
