Where is a restaurant, outside of TV, that serves great steaks?

Amazing!
Berns is the best. Not a chain. Baked potato, GREAT French onion soup and salad are included. Be sure to ask your waiter/waitress about what their requirements are for obtaining their job. Tours are on hold for right now. They usually have a waiting list to get a reservation.

Default Definitely Mark's

We were very happy to find Mark's and it did not disappoint! If you're ever in Charleston (or other locations in SC), Hall's Chophouse is a must.

I have had great filets at Stonewood Grill and the best filet at Austin's Cattle Company in Valdosta, GA. No, we did not drive there for the filet. We stopped on our way north and had wonderful filets every time.

So, are there any excellent restaurants, that serve great filets in the surrounding area from Ocala to Mt. Dora?[/QUOTE]

I lived in Tampa Palms years ago and begged Stonewood to open a restaurant near here. They would do great but as the closest one besides Tampa Palms is Daytona.

I know you're asking specifically about restaurants, but if you decided to buy and cook at home, the HM Cattle Company-Handley Beef truck that comes to Brownwood on Saturday mornings has the best! Florida born, Florida raised, grass fed beef!

Get a Weber charcoal BBQ and some great filets at Sam’s club and cook them just like you want.

Buy yourself a Camp Chef WoodWind pellet grill with the optional Sear Box and make the perfect steak yourself!
It is a life changer.

Mark’s Prime highly recommended, all prime beef served, pricey, however to my humble opinion better than Ruth Chris or Fleming’s, please be aware that gentleman’s must wear collared shirts and I recommend long pants, they do have a strict dress code, and since John Travolta lives in Ocala, you might see him there as we did!!!!!

I have tried many steakhouses throughout New York, Florida, and North Carolina. Some steaks were not worth the $45 to $50 price tag along with the $9.00 baked potato and $10.00 salad or a side dish. If you want a great tasting Steak / Rib Eye without the fancy decor or $50.00 prices you owe it to yourself to try LongHorns Steakhouse on 441. I have dined in LongHorns Steak house approximately 10 or 12 times throughout NY, Florida, and NC. and have never been disappointed. The steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered every time (medium rare) and are always juicy and flavorful. The price tag for a Outlaw bone in Ribeye with 2 sides is about $27.00. Give LongHorns a chance. I am certain you will enjoy. Note: I have never been served a better steak in the fancy steak houses.
