Aren't we already an "organized" group----members of TOTV?

Someone mentioned Panera Bread. Busy, busy so perhaps a meeting every month is a bit much. Once quarterly a lunch doesn't sound bad to me. We are "snowflakes" (own/come and go) but maybe "frogs" in the future. The meetings have been informal and I believe you need to be organized in order to get a room in a Recreational Center. Just some thoughts.......
bingo.

Also a question that hasn't come up, perhaps I missed it, is... will the meeting place be golf cart accessible?

I'm not sure about the "organized" part. Talk of the Villages is a forum type of website. I personally don't know any of the administrators or owners. Our meet and greets have always been held informally since Ellen and I first attended 4 years ago. I'm guessing the recreation department would need TOTV's business info to allow use of a room?

I certainly believe any meeting should be golf cart accessible. Of course, that doesn't mean you couldn't ago drive a vehicle.

How about just lining up a bus...and driving to Fenney and back?

Given the three hour or so round trip, that should give everyone time to get to know each other.

Talk Host and Tony used to come to these TOTV meetings once in a while. Not sure who even owns or administers this now.

Neither do we. I only know TOTV is pretty much identical to a forum I belong to in respect to my trade. Same layout, terms of service and all.

Why don't we see if there is a restaurant that will accept us around Brownwood, in the middle of TV.

dbussone had a great point. If we had visitors and were at a pool or rec center then that wouldn't work out too well unless we had special dispensation from the bosses because of the nature of the group. It is after all meet & greet. If we keep kicking this around we will come up with a great solution. I'm certain, we have a whole lot of brainpower at our disposal.
