WOB yesterday
The staff are very friendly. the beer selection is pretty darned good. Ordered two dishes yesterday.
French dip sandwich. ALMOST INEDIBLE. Somehow they made the beef both greasy-tasting, yet dry and no other flavor. Wife barely touched it. God awful Bibimbop - Korean dish. I have to say, I think this is a pretty good dish and largely healthy. Not bad for a WOB product. any recommendations from anyone else on the food there? |

The pretzels with the beer cheese dip is an awesome combo, though remarkably expensive. Normally I wouldn't pay more than $6-7 for something like that. It's obviously too big for one person but at $10, it's really just one big bread knot, which often come free at some restaurants with your meal.
What I also love, and usually end up getting, is the black and blue steak flatbread. Every restaurant seems to have a version of this. I'm almost convinced that City Fire and WoB use the same distributor. But once a week they're only $5 each, so one of those and a nice fruity rum drink is a great dinner. |

Seen many reviews where the patrons waited about an hour in an empty WOB restaurant in TV for their food. Not even going to try going here any more. Used to be a great place, too.

We go there frequently. Usually sit at the bar but at times have been at a table. Only time we have ever had a long wait for food was on a very busy Monday night when the kitchen was slammed with burger orders. Even then the food still came in a reasonable time considering the crowd.
Have gone there often and will continue to. Favorites are bibimbap, burgers, pretzel, and wob cob; haven't yet found anything we didn't like.

Both. BW is closer, SS has more selections and a nicer view outside

Went by the other day and patrons were leaving because they waited too long for their food. Wow, what has happened to this place?

I guess I would rather wait BEFORE I am seated and have ordered my food so at least I know what the situation is. Things should be turning around now that the extra unemployment payments from the feds are coming to an end. kathy |
