Atmosphere at Koyame and Bamboo Bistro very different from each other, but quality of food at both is excellent!
And the yogurt place next to Bamboo is great too!

Evergreen has always been on Pinellas. It was a buffet, now it's meals, no buffet. China Gourmet is in Colony.

I thought Evergreen originally was a take-out-only in Colony. Then the same owners opened the buffet in Pinellas Plaza after the plaza was built. Then they closed, refurbished, opened as a restaurant. I could be wrong.

CHINA BUFFET in Southern Trace:
Worse than the 2 day old food Evergreen tossed into their dumpster last week. I'll take Evergreen any day over the crap China Buffet serves every day.

If you think that was bad, you should have tasted my wife's first (and only) attempt at Chinese cooking. It tasted like slug vomit, if you can imagine what that must taste like.

Rickey D--you probably hit the nail on the head--the food was most likely several days old & warmer over--no taste, no texture, no color & no separation--everything was sticking together
