My orders are typically fairly small, around $40. I tip the Instacart shoppers $10 since they physically go in the stores, select items, and communicate with me about options. I give the Walmart drivers $5 since they are only bringing the pickup order to me (and I live very close). It's 10 minutes of work vs an hour. Everything is no-touch drop-off now so it's quick and easy.

The services allow customers to add or change a tip after delivery so the amount can be adjusted for superior service.
