Default Shrinking Enclosure??

It has become REALLY difficult to zip up our (Sunbrella) enclosure on our golf cart, and when zipped it pulls away from its anchors. I can't get it snapped down at the bottom either - anyone else had this problem? I hope we don't need a new enclosure! It's older, ~2005. Thanks!

Default Ours TOO!!

In these past cold days, ours has been behaving badly too. I think that the cold temps kind of makes the "wrinkles" less able to go smooth and does make it smaller. Am I making sense?

Sweetie says I do make sense, every once in awhile.

100%!
I could not get our snaps to quite reach and had to rely on the velcro to hold it in place. It is definitely a function of the temp outside.

You can purchase some Snap Extenders. They snap on your existing canvas hardware so that you can snap the enclosures when the temps get cooler or the canvas shrinks some from age.

Google "Snap Extenders" and see if it is something that will solve your problem.

How about using a blow dryer to warm it up may be it would make it a little better

I had no idea other people have the same problem! I guess the good news is we won't need to replace anything - the bad is we'll still be cold until the weather warms up! Going to try the snap extenders, also the blow dryer.
Gracie, you make perfect sense to me - should I be worried?

A friend suggested that i use chap stick (as a lubricant) on the zippers and in the snaps as part of routine maintenance. It has made both zippers and snaps so much easier to operate.

Since then, we have not experienced the cold weather causing any problem in using/fastening our 6 year old sunbrella enclosure.

Regards,
Don
