Has anyone had an AFIB correction procedure? Electro-cardioversion? Ablation? Medication? Your experiences and resulting success, or lack thereof. What Doctor? Thanks in advance for sharing.

A friend of mine had a correction for a fib done by Dr. Rivero of Citrus Cardiology. I believe it was performed at the Leesburg Medical Center.

I had an ablation done about 3 years ago by Dr. Gavadarashan of Citrus Cardiology. I have experienced no problems with afib since having the procedure. Still take meds but no episodes of tachacardia,

Results vary with the individual, the cause, the nature of the AFIB. The differing processes are specific to an individual, hence what works for one may not for another.
Several years ago my wife had cardioversion attempted. After three tries it was deemed to not work for her condition. Current assessment is there is no process or medication that will affect her AFIB. Continue medication for the rest of her life. (Dr. Attanti @ Citrus Cardiology). |
