Default Lost Pets of The Villages

For anyone interested in joining the efforts in finding future lost pets in The Villages, the effort is being coordinated on FB through the Lost Pets of The Villages group.

You don't have to be in The Villages to help. You don't have to go out and actually look for the lost pet. While we need people to do that. What we really need, is to get the word out to as many people as possible.

The last pet we found was handled so very quickly because, someone had the phone number to the owner in his phone! That gentleman KNEW the dog because of the efforts of the people sending emails and posting to groups they were involved in!

So... If you want to help, please join the group and we will communicate to you the next steps in the coordination.

Thank you.

All Facebookers, this concept has been in place in Gainesville for years has reunited countless pets. You share the post that a dog is lost or found and your friends here share the post, and the chances grow that the pet will be spotted, found and reunited.

It is new as far as I know to the Villages Facebook Group and TOTV.

Good to hear that this idea has been working well in Gainesville as well.
