Question Wht Domestic Animal Isn't Mentioned in the Christian Bible?

This is interesting:

It's the cat that isn't mentioned!

More animals than cats are not specifically mentioned in the Bible but many believe the exclusion of cats was intentional.

Some historians believe this was a reflection of animosity held by the descendants of Israelite slaves who were held in captivity under the Egyptians.
Since Egyptians held cats in high esteem, to the point of considering them gods, the slaves came to dislike, even despise, cats as they did the cats' owners and protectors.

On the reciprocal side, Egyptians hated the sheep that the Israelites raised and excluded that animal from their recordings.

Our Mikey is wishing everyone a happy Easter as he inspects some Easter gifts for our Helene.

I once asked a Christian scholar if our pets had eternal life and he said that he thought that what existed in the eyes of God lived forever. In all of our religions, there are things written down and those carried forward through tradition. In the heaven that I hope for, our kitties will be waiting.
