Hello fellow pet owners! I have 2 rescues that need to be groomed! The Petsmart on 441 is very close to my house, how is their grooming salon? Good experiences? Bad experiences?
Thanks in advanced! |

My neighbor's Yorkie's ear got clipped there a while back. They might have fired the groomer from that mishap though. Seems that was a year or so ago.

WE left them after it was taking 4-5 hours to get our dog bathe, groomed and combed out. Others can do t withing an hour or so and in the meantime while they have er she is kept in a cage!! Not Necessary!! The Groomer was OK but the 4-5 hours was not!

There was an article within the last year about a dog who died during grooming (not Lady Lake) due to their drying technique. From what I understand dogs are bathed, then left in a crate/cage with the dryer on them. The dogs are at the mercy of the groomer's attention to temperature and time spent in the dryer with this method. At times, they are very busy and it would be easy for a dog to be left in the dryer too long or too hot. If you use them, please voice your concern that their drying times and temps be closely monitored. Stay and wait in the waiting area if you can while they are being groomed. Special attention if the dog's are the type with the short muzzle due to breathing problems or small in size due to dehydration.
