I put this question on the "club" thread, but I don't think it's visited very much.


Is there an Illinois Club or is anyone interested in starting one? I see lots of other states have clubs,.....maybe Illinois needs onetoo!

My understanding is that the Illinois Club disbanded because of lack of interest.

There is, however, a large, vibrant, well-run Chicagoland Club. There is a waiting list to join. Email "chicagolandclub@aol.com" if you want to be on the waiting list.

An active Peoria club does exist, has 100 + families and has recently met at Sea Breeze

Well, we're from Sterling/Rock Falls area....I doubt we could find 100+ people in Florida let alone the Villages! (;-)

LACK OF INTEREST!!!!! I know there are several families who have bought in Sanibel,maybe we can re-instate the club.....and get advice from the ChicagoClub.

We belong to the ILLINI club. We meet to watch the the college games.

Contact juscause1@gmail.com to get on the email list. We usually watch the games at Gators Dockside or one of the Rec Centers.

Well, I think you might be wrong about that. I went to a Peoria Night, last year and they were lots of people there. I've seen the mailing list, so there are over 100 people, from Peoria, living in The Villages.

However, other than the annual party, I don't think they do anything else.
