Default Question about service providers

I'm closing in less than 2 weeks on a pre-owned and I just received a list of the current owner's service providers. I'm noticing that they have one company doing the lawn mowing, another company doing the trimming and weed control, and yet another company doing fertilizer and "special lawn treatments".
Wouldn't it be a LOT easier to have one company doing all this? I'm baffled as to why anyone would hire 3 different companies to do yard maintenance.
Am I missing something?
Also, any recommendations for a company who will do it all would be appreciated.

It may cost less to use three companies.

We use Stellar, they do it all. See their ad on TOTV.
