Default Aggressive Boxer Dog At Bonita Dog Park

The Brinson Perry Dog Park, located behind the fire dept at Bonita & Buena Vista, has an owner with no clue. The female boxer looked as though she'd been nursing pups recently.

This dog is aggressive and is to be avoided. The owner took the dog to the small dog side, because it was empty, AFTER being asked not to and replying "I'll just leave if someone comes".

Rules only apply to some.... I guess....you can't change stupid.

Aggressive dogs are a problem in dog parks, but I do have to commend her for removing the dog to an empty area with the understanding she would leave if a small dog came. If the dogs did have pups recently she probably was in desperate need of this outing and some exercise and fresh air. Hope this was the case an not an irresponsible dog owner.

Did the dog exibit agressive or mean behavior, or are you just assuming such because it is a boxer? I have been around numerous boxers who are sweet as can be.

F16 is a person who knows dogs very well. His Teddy was part of many of our hearts and will always be part of mine.

I have known three boxers; two boys and my new friend Emma, they have all been gentle. A nursing mama is filled with hormones be it a people one or a dog one.

What happened F?

Gracie's new friend Emma doesn't go to dog parks....our experiences lead me to believe dog packs take time and complex negotiation to establish social order. Just seems unnatural to pen her in with whoever shows up.
