Way to go Kitty with your comeback! Evidently village shooter never heard of farm bred catfish which is what Catfish Johnny's serves and which you should always ask for.

I have always enjoyed catfish. Probably one of the better tasting fish around here.

We enjoyed our outing to Catfish Jonny's. I had the Catfish without the bone. Didn't have the "fresh caught" taste I'm used to eating. Now I know it's farm raised & that might make a difference. We were stuffed but ordered the Carmel Sundae, yum!

FYI,Nearly 90% of the "FARM RAISED" catfish are imported to the US comes from Vietnam, where use of antibiotics that are banned in the US is widespread. Furthermore, the two varieties of Vietnamese catfish sold in the US, Swai and Basa, aren't technically considered catfish by the federal government and therefore aren't held to the same inspection rules that other imported catfish are. You have no idea what those Vietnamese people are doing in those rice paddies, that we dropped Agent Orange on in the late 60's and 70's that will take 200 years to get out of the soil. So enjoy your "Farm Raised" catfish!
