Hi there CCC, how are you doing, and where are you? It has been very cold here lately, but it wil be warming up today, and hopefully, a warming trend wil continue...so when you get home, you will not freeze. All is well...today is Octoberfest so we will be at LSL. Tomorrow folks will be decorating their golfcarts for Halloween, and head to LSL for a get together. PGB is heading off to "Hogs on the High Seas"..a Harley cruise..DickY is driving her to Port Canaveral this AM and then head back to meet us for the parade. I, sadly, am heading home in the AM. I will be very happy to see my family, but I will miss everyone here like crazy....so it is bittersweet for me. I am headed to Kauai, Hawaii the week after Thanksgiving with my sister, and her daughter and grandkids.....the wonderful thing is I am taking my granddaughter with me. I will be back after the Holidays, hopefully, and will then catch up with my friends and DANCING. Hope you are well...have a safe trip home.
Blondie

Default BOOORRring.......

Hi ChaCha, Blondie, all single TVers, married TVers, and all Wannabees

It's Indian Summer in the valley in s/Oregon and the fall colors are brilliant this year. Aside from my short trip to the coast -- life goes on -- certainly not as exciting as life in TV

I enjoy reading about y'all's activities and perhaps (some day) I'll be there too !

Hello everyone! It's gotten awfully cold up here in NY. I sit here with a throw around my shoulders, though I also have a window open a bit since I enjoy the fresh air. We've got snow flurries threatened later this week. The nights will be in the 20's. Once the holidays pass us by, I'm really going to miss the warm weather.

The single threads have sure been quiet lately. What's everyone been up to?
What's the big plan for celebrating New Year's Eve in The Villages? I won't be there, but like to hear what everyone is doing.

Although early, I'd like to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hello, again, ConeyIsBabe, BillArmyRet, Benj, bestmickey, Blondie, and all.

4 of us are heading over to The Villages Singles Club meeting at 6:30pm this evening being held in La Hacienda Rec. Ctr.
3 of us want to know what the Club is all about and CHACHACHA wants to see if there's free food being given out! Oh, that girl! I still wonder how she keeps that fantastic figure.

Default Cold in the Carolinas

As I write this it is about 40 degrees in my part of NC. I know I would rather be at TV. Still trying to get out of here but it looks like it may be a while. Some friends and I are going to visit TV for a couple of days in December maybe I will see some of you then

Default Life Goes On For The Wannabee....

Weather is kinda nice / I volunteered at the local thrift shop / I played Bingo with the old ladies (fit right in) / planning a mini-trip to the Napa Valley / I'm dog-sitting for Jack tomorrow while his daddy goes to an all-day trip to Casino / don't know whether to cook or eat out for Thanksgiving

OK, PGB. Although it was not my cup of tea, I am soooo glad that you had hootin'-hollerin' grand time. How many of those brownies did you eat anyhow? And you should have had the brownies that the Club provided instead of bringing your own and eating those. But, then, I DO know what you put into your brownies and, perhaps, that's why you had such a great time. As for the other 4 (I'm glad Bob showed up too in order to help me carry you outta there!), we enjoyed the animal demonstration but that's about it.

Islandgal,,,,,, time flies when you're having fun! Very glad I was able to get some rest during the Singles meeting. Additionally, trying to locate the office of a local bail bondsman for PGB proved more difficult than I expected!
