Well, my northern adventure is coming to an end and I'm heading back to my TV home on August 16th. I must say I'm anxious to get back to see all my friends, but, a little dismayed that I'm giving up the glorious weather here for the steamy hot weather and constant rain you've been going through. I hear you eventually get used to it, but, so far it's 'Have air-conditioner, (only then) Will travel'.

I hope everyone had a great summer and I look forward to getting together with the gang soon after my return. (Assuming, of course, I was gone but not forgotten)

When does the weather usually cool down just a bit? We are new and plan to be half-timers for the next few years. Want to set up a good schedule to take advantage of both home towns.

We are snowbirds and come to TV in early September to take advantage of the fall; and stay until a week before Thanksgiving. We return up north for the Holidays and stay to early January. We return to TV for the winter and stay to the Middle of May ( taking advantage of the glorious Spring). It works for us great weather in both places.

Consider it done, Janice. No one can have too many good friends and TV is great for making them.
