I'm interested.

I'm really excited about a possible singles travel group getting together. Although my money would probably be spent better elsewhere, the heart wants what the heart wants. Diane, maybe we should advertise the heck out of this, to see if there might be more singles interested, who don't get on this site.

By the way, is there some sort of singles travel club in TV already? Do the singles clubs arrange trips? Is one needed?

I don't know if there is a singles club in TV but I think that is an excellent idea. Perhaps after Diane has her get together and depending on interest we should look into forming a club.

I will be in TV in late October and would like to be a part of the group. We will be in TV a few days before our Villages cruise to the Bahamas in early November. My trips are limited right now as I'm saving my pennies for my move to TV!

My aunt used to travel with a group called 'Traveling Alone Together". I'm not sure if it is just for former airline employees. Their spouses didn't want to travel when they weren't working so this group was formed so they would have travel companions. My aunt has traveled with them through Grand Circle.

There are at least 3 major singles clubs in The Villages.

I have not heard of a singles travel club in TV, but at least the baby boomers club ha some members travel as a group, such as the Aruba cruise Ken and others and I went on. They had about 50 I think, aNd HAD SINGLE CABINS WITH no extra charge.

Yes, a singles travel club is exactly what I was talking about. I know there are 3 singles clubs in TV as I am in them. Actually, there are more than 3, there is the single beachcombers club (which I also am in) and perhaps others I'm not aware of. I was on that cruise that 50 of us went on and we all had a fantastic time. Would love to go on another with a group.

I went to grammer school with April Miranda, the founder of Gutsy Women travel. She is my friend on Facebook and I often see her pictures of the different trips she takes. It looks like a fun group of ladies!
