I’ve tried to ignore the passion, but the “old guy” kept on sneaking his way in anyway. Katie’s got it right. It has to be a two-way connection. And then both have to work at keeping the flames burning. Unfortunately it doesn’t always work. And I am not in a position to give anyone else advise. I have to work on myself and my own “future” relationships. We’ll see how that goes.

I look forward to seeing everyone in April. You’ll recognize me. I’ll be the guy standing on the corner in a leather jacket, and shorts.

first laugh of the day. thank you!:mornincoffee::loco:

I know, you are probably right, but there have been some pretty wonderful couples "happen" among our more senior residents.
The reason I said what I said is because I can't forget what a pharmacist once told me. When I was a young man I worked for a pharmacist. He owned his own pharmacy and it was just the two of us running things. Every day I would go out and get his lunch which was the same thing every day - an egg salad sandwich. One day on the way back to the pharmacy I saw an elderly couple acting like teenagers. They were holding hands and seemed quite inspired by each other.

When I got back to the store, I told the pharmacist what I had observed and he only said two words: "Senile love."

Seems the "chemistry" interest has died out. I'm still willing to facilitate a group (see my previous posts). Anyone else interested??? I'm positive that it will be informative.
