The clubs don't matter getting lessons to start with a fairly good swing makes the difference. AFTER you can hit the ball fairly consistently and you play for awhile (including champion) you can shop for clubs

Maybe try Play it again sports in Leesburg. I started out to just have fun, made adjustments as I went along. If I start getting upset with myself or mad I’ll quit. 😁

If your just starting and never played a $200 new set or a used set. Use them for 6-8 months and if you like the game you can get fitted for clubs. Prices are generally set by the manufacturer so the prices are very similar at all stores

TAKE LESSONS - You can have the best clubs made and still end up hating the game.

Its not the arrow, its the Indian.........take lessons first.....once you have a swing, the clubs become important... no swing it won't matter what arrow you get...........Sarasota has teachers........

BTW, a very close approximation of the correct length can be found on line by entering a few facts such as gender, height, and age. Just google "what is the correct golf club length for me".

I second Play It Again Sports in Leesburg! I got a very full set of Adams complete with bag and all new grips for $300. That set is only about a year old, so not ancient tech, either.

Before you spend money and time learning an buying the wrong stuff. Go to a golf Pro, learn how to properly grip the golf club along with the correct posture for your swing, which he or she will teach you. There is a body posture to learn and from that and based on your physical size and shape you will have a lie angle the club that is best for your posture should have. Then you can buy clubs that fit you, much like your shoes reg, 2E, 3E etc. Sound like alot, well if is, but can be accomplished for many of these things in a few visits to your local Golf Pro. wish I had started that way. Good luck

find golf clubs that look good and feel good to you. i started with some clubs from my mom, dad, uncle nothing matched, within a year i was playing pretty good, after you find out if you will ever be good then you can make the decision.
