My wife has never had an ace, but did something once that has to be even rarer. She was about 90 yards out for her second shot, which arced high and straight, landed right in the hole with the pin still in--and stayed there. Never touched the green. The odds of that happening without the ball bouncing out must be astronomical.

My husband hit an albatross in south FL several years ago. There is a bench with his name on it.

He came within inches of a hole in one on the sixth hole and tapped in for an eagle. So yes, it can be done.

The kid also hit a driver on the par 5 12th hole at Tierra Del Sol over the marsh, completely eliminating the dogleg left, and wound up in the middle of the fairway, 85 yards from the flag, for his second shot. Dam, youth is wasted on the young!

When I was 20 playing in CT, on a par 4, decided to shoot over water and surprise the ball on a line drive, skipped like a stone onto the green 3 feet from the hole. Miracle in for an eagle!

I've done it several times but unfortunately I was playing alone. :)

I use to play Put-Put Golf with some pros. Yes there were pros and professional tournaments. They could shoot 18 on an 18 hole course. Best I ever shoot was 19...

I came close yesterday on Bonifay Ft Walton No. 7, within just a few feet of hole. Unfortunately, I was teeing up from No. 6 and sliced. The group approaching the green on No. 7 were impressed.

Never had one on a par 4; have 17 on par 3’s. Even had one on EP Egret #4 during Covid when I bounced it inside that PVC pipe; wind was blowing from behind me and had the flag leaning away from me and it 1 hopped into the pipe.

August 6, 2003. Tallgrass Golf Club on Long Island. Hole # 12. 269 yards to the pin. Driver. I knew it was going toward the hole, but I couldn't see it go in due to the swales in front of the green. The guys walking up the next hole started yelling and that's when I knew. I played four times a week for many years and that's the only hole-in-one I've ever had. And, yes, there were three witnesses.

Par 4 hole in one

My husband had 2 holes in one on a par 4, over 35 years ago, in Stone Mountain GA. He was a long hitter, but the first one was a fluke. The ball hit the cart path and bounced toward the green, rolling into the hole.
The second one was legitimate but a short par four. Still, it’s pretty unusual to have a hole in one on a par four hole….. twice!

We saw Min Jee Lee get a hole in one on a par 4 at Ladies Pro Tournament at Aviara Country Club in Southern California. It was very exciting
