Is there a reason to make untrue statements? The leaders of the team have made it clear that they do not love this country or its values.

Actually, some of the freshest fish in the US is in Louisville, KY.

The reason why is that when the fish are caught in say, Alaska, they are immediately put on ice and shipped overnight via Fed Ex, which has a major hub in Louisville. So restaurants there get their fish faster.

Of course if you mean fresh caught and brought to the restaurant, you would be correct.

I don't know that, and neither do you. And how is it political? Shouldn't all Americans stand in respect when the national anthem is played? Not saying you have to sing, and it would be nice if you put your hand over your heart, but all Americans should stand. I don't think that belongs to a particular party. Do you think it does?

I owned a couple of trucking companies and warehouses in NY/NJ/CA. I remember when FedEx was starting (may still be true) , back when they had competition from a company called Purolator, I would send a FedEx envelope from NY on 12th avenue, to NYC on fifth avenue, and it would go from Newark airport, to Tenn., back to Newark all within one day.

No more political than your statement that prompted the "political" response...

Yep, it's good to see that not, just ONE or TWO TEAMS will run away with it...

After the antics of Megan Rapinoe, I couldn’t care or watch the USA women’s soccer team anymore.

We are doomed, we won't even make the semi's . .

Not sure about the coaching. . . men coaching women have to have a certain ability to connect,
like Anson Dorrance. . . very few have that ability

They did not look all that good this morning. Many more inspired teams playing in the Knockout Stages.

Taltarzac725 08-02-2023 09:29 PM

We had it split at both ends with a block picking first (8) and an equally sized group picking tenth. (8) And 6 choosing third. 29 votes in all with the rest spread out.

I hope they do well against Sweden this weekend. Even though Sweden looked quite strong.

Morocco looks great against Colombia, as compared to their history, the rest of the world is rapidly catching up which is great! Morocco men doing so well in the MWC has given that nation a huge boost in interest.

Jamaica drawing with Brazil is another huge boost for the small countries. . Brazil not going through is a huge sign of the rest of the world catching up. Germany only having three points and top 10 in the world, struggling to get through down 1 to Korea is another sign.

Very exciting now, the knock rounds will be fun!

This advancement gives me some nice feelings about the advancement and in some countries acceptance of womens' sports around the world.

Morocco goal keeper is playing out of her mind! Go Morocco!

Morocco playing well coached, highly professional soccer, dribbling to corner flags in added time, fast one touch passing onto spaces. . what an inspiration to Arab countries womens' soccer

CoachKandSportsguy 08-03-2023 07:06 AM

Brazil out
Germany out

Morocco in
Jamaica in

Cant' get any better than this!

I voted 4th Place for them.
1st - Germany
2nd - Sweden
3rd - England, playing USA for 3rd place play-off

Sweden could win it all. They played very well against Japan and move on.

Spain won.

England plays against Columbia and France meets Australia August 12, 2023. Our time (Eastern ) 3 and then 6:30 AM.

Yes, although I do not.

Some use "aggravate" for "irritate", too. Just a moment....

and "reiterate" for "iterate". Is it reiterate or iterate? - Future Perfect.

another: "excetera" for "etcetera". pronunciation - ETcetera pronounced as EXetera ? Correct? - English Language & Usage Stack Exchange
