It's not easy in this day and age...to take a moral stand.

or an immoral stand as in the instant case under discussion!

Instead of throwing away your Nike stuff, how about donating it... to some veterans?

Veterans defend Colin Kaepernick - Business Insider

At this point I doubt any truly patriotic veteran would want to wear the nike logo.

Some people are burning their Nike purchases in protest. I think it was a very carefully thought-out marketing strategy.
Burning Nike gear costs Nike nothing, and it gives them free advertising.
Coldnomore thinks they've claimed the moral high ground. So far, he seems to be in a minority.

Good for Nike. They are taking the long and high road while marketing to the diverse and quite a bit more open to different viewpoints of people 35 and under market.

No need to comment on ToTV.

Communicate with your purchasing dollars.

I wish I knew what the protest was about and what would make the kneelers happy. Maybe I could care.

I will use all my Nike golf balls for hitting off the black tees on Palmers (Reilly)second hole

Given that we live here in TV...no big surprise there. :D

Then again, I've never been one of those that just went along with a crowd...when it comes to my integrity and ethics.

Let's not forget (and I'm certainly not comparing myself to such a wonderful and admirable icon)...that Rosa Parks was also in the minority.

A good time for one of my favorite sayings....

At the expense of their stockholders. Hang on to yours and enjoy the ride.

Nike makes Kaepernick the face of '''Just Do It''' campaign

Actually they look like a good investment. For the long haul that is.
