Some people are burning their Nike purchases in protest. I think it was a very carefully thought-out marketing strategy.
Burning Nike gear costs Nike nothing, and it gives them free advertising.
Coldnomore thinks they've claimed the moral high ground. So far, he seems to be in a minority.

Good for Nike. They are taking the long and high road while marketing to the diverse and quite a bit more open to different viewpoints of people 35 and under market.

Given that we live here in TV...no big surprise there.

Then again, I've never been one of those that just went along with a crowd...when it comes to my integrity and ethics.

Let's not forget (and I'm certainly not comparing myself to such a wonderful and admirable icon)...that Rosa Parks was also in the minority.
