These are worth a look especially if you like the TV series Big Sky even if that Cassie Dewell is quite different from the one written by C.J. Box.

Macmillan: Series: Cody Hoyt / Cassie Dewell Novels

There is a book that has a lot of Cody Hoyt in it called Back of Beyond.

I'll have to try this series. I read many of Box's Joe Pickett books, but gave up after about ten of them (I think there are now 20). Box is a very good writer, but in the Pickett series the plots became simply unbelievable. He probably ran out of good ideas, but couldn't turn down the cash.
