Default Divergent, by Veronica Roth

This is a trilogy. Insurgent is the second book, and third will be released in Oct. Hard to put down once you start. If you like books like The Hunger Games, you will really like these.

Thank you for the information. I really liked the Hunger Games trilogy, so I may have to check this trilogy out. I am waiting eagerly for the second movie in the Hunger Games trilogy, "Catching Fire" to be released in November.

According to Wikipedia, they are currently filming the movie Divergent due out in March 2014. They have also cast the sequel, Insurgent.

I have read the Hunger Games trilogy and hope this new one is like it. I have the book Divergent on hold waiting for me to pick it up at one of the Lake County Public Libraries. Thank God or Lake County for their request services for books held in any of their libraries in Lake County.

I also am really looking forward to Catching Fire.

You might want to see if they can get the 2nd book, "Insurgent", for you also. I have a feeling it will soon be hard to find.

I just finished this book last week. It was a great book. I can't wait to get my hands on Insurgent.

Ok
I was obviously under the wrong impression
I thought Hunger Games' target audience was teens and yoing adults.

Could someone give a bit of info what is it that it would appeal to a 55 yr old woman, please??? Thanks

There are many YA books that are very good and well written. Besides there are always parents in the books, lol.

I read Divergent with my niece. She is 15 and was confused by it.

The Glass Castle by Janette Walls is another good one as is The Giver series by Lois Lowry.
