I have read the biography of FDR by Jean Edward Smith. I found it to be a fascinating, well written, comprehensive and balanced biography of our 32nd President.

A man who led our country through the great depression and WWII. A man who literally worked himself to death in the service of his country.

Has anyone read this biography?

Thumbs up Ellenor

Mrs FDR was also a wonderful person. She use to shop at the market where I worked while in High School. She never had a bunch of Secret Service. Drove herself and left a tip when we took her groceris to the car even though the sign said no tips. I also belong to the same Grange and she was just another Granger when she attended. You had to have a great respect for her.
