Thumbs up Jeff Shaara's The Final Storm (4th Book in his WWII Series)

I have been reading books by either the father Michael Shaara or the son Jeff Shaara since 1975 or so starting with The Killer Angels. The Killer Angels - Wikipedia

This last one is about the battle for Okinawa as seen from the eyes of a few of the main leaders involved in the conflict and a few of the ordinary soldiers.

This last one is quite good so far. I did have to listen to a lot of military history while getting my 2nd BA this one in History at the University of Nevada, Reno. The first one was in Philosophy. One of my History professors it seems to me was a West Point drop-out or maybe he graduated and then went another way with his career.

These Shaara books are well worth your time if you have not read them yet and/or are interested in US military history. Jeff Shaara
