Default Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (Spoiler Alert)

I am enjoying this book but it is getting very weird.

I liked his first book The Martian as well as his 2nd Artemis: A Novel a great deal more.

I quite enjoyed Project Hail Mary. He had to give the alien a super-ability to learn the English language in an absurdly short time or the story wouldn't have gone anywhere. The structure of recovering memories interspersed with flashbacks was an interesting approach. I'm not sure who read it, but the audio book came out before the printed book and I listened to it and thought the performance was very well done. Having really enjoyed The Martian (book and later film) and quite enjoyed Artemis, I'm looking forward to more from Andy Weir in the future.

Me, too. The Martian is one of my favorite books.

Just finished Project Hail Mary and it will be interesting to see whom they cast in the other roles for the movie. I had heard that Ryan Gosling is pegged for the Ryland Grace part.

Got about half way through it before the library took it back. Now that I see it is an audiobook, I will try to check out one of those to finish. Sci-Fi isn't my thing, but I liked The Martian & Weir is a good story teller. Like his device of recovered memories.
