A friend recommended Cussler to me just two days ago. Wow.

Any recommendations for what book(s) I should start with?

The Dirk Pitt series...from the beginning.

Or the Isaac Bell series...from the beginning.

In fact, you might try one of each and find you would prefer to finish the Isaac Bell series first...due to the early 20th century technology themes.

Whichever way you choose to go, even if you finish one a week, there are literally years...of good reading ahead.

Personally, I like Brad Thor's books a little better than Cussler's...but they are similar.

Then of course, there's the best badazz of all...Jack Reacher.

And sorry Tom Cruise, Reacher is 6'5"...250 lbs.

NOT 5'6"...150 lbs.

And if you need a break, check out Harlan Coben's...Myron Bolitar series.

We all need a best friend to have our back, like that of Bolitar's...Windsor "Win" Horne Lockwood III.
