Default Raylan by Elmore Leonard.

Enjoying this book quite a bit. It has some of the same characters as the show Justified but the plots veer in different directions.

Have to forget what I remember from the TV show and try to focus on what is happening in the novel.

The same thing happens in Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels and the TV show True Blood. Each has very different developments going on with the various characters.

First I love Justified. Never miss it. I read Fire in the Hole which is what Justified is based on. Stays pretty much true to the opening TV episode.

I have also read Riding the Rap which is another Raylon Givens story.

I have Pronto and Raylan on order from the Villages library.

I love Justified too. I recently purchased the first three Raylan books on my Kindle Fire, and finished the first one today on an airplane (I think I paid $9.99 for all three books - a great buy). I've always liked Elmore L, and these three books are classic. I think the character seems less intelligent in the books, but Raylan's non-conformist attitude comes through in both the books and the FX show. Tim Oliphant is just great as Raylan.

I also am a big fan of Justified. Thanks for the posts about the books. I am going to order them for my kindle today.

The 3 book bundle was on sale earlier this week for $4.99 through Amazon.
