Default Reacher

Any Jack Reacher fans out there? Reacher is a character created by Lee Child. He makes Spenser look like a wuss! Not intellectually challenging, but really good reads!

Have read many of Lee Child's books. Jack Reacher rocks! Just started "The Hard Way". It reads familiar so I may find that I have read it already but will be just as good the second time.

I've also read and enjoyed many of Lee Child's books. Jack Reacher is a hair too "superman" for me though. Have you read Michael Connelly with his Harry Bosch character?

To enjoy Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, you have to suspend disbelief a little bit. The plot lines are way out there usually, but I really enjoy them just the same. Reacher is truly "the man" and I am a fan. And regarding Michael Connelly and his Harry Bosch series, I think it's the best police procedural series ever written. And I like his Mickey Haller books as well (i.e., The Lincoln Lawyer). If you like Child and Connelly, give Nelson Demille a try. He writes similar stuff, and there are a lot of them available at your local used book store (if you have one).

Jack Reacher is great - have read them all. Another good author is Daniel Silva - read them as they were published because there are several reoccuring characters.

Jack Reacher is my hero. I think he is my alter ego..lol I just read "Echo Burning" that
was my eighth of sixteen Lee Child novels so far. Modern day gypsy. Travel lite, never do laundry, own nothing. I am truly a fan

Default Reacher

I just recently got into the Reacher books after I read all of the James Patterson and Stewart Woods books. I also like Vince Flynn and his charater Mitch Rapp and his counterterrorism advertures.

Default My favorite in the Jack Reacher series

My favorite so far is One Shot. Excellent plot twists. Could not guess the outcome until revealed.

One shot is the plot (generally) for the movie "{Jack Reacher" starring, in an incredible stretch, Tom Cruise!

I really loved the last one (The Affair?) because it gave us a lot of back story regarding how he became the person he is.

This is a little bit of a scary coincidence. After I posted my reply yesterday, this morning I received an email from Amazon.com that says:

Hi,

Customers who have shown an interest in books by Lee Child on Amazon.com may enjoy his other titles, available as print editions or Kindle books.

I know it's a coincidence, but it feels a little like big brother!

Reacher, Mitch Rapp, Scott Horvath and Jack Bauer. What a team they would be ! !

I enjoy Lee Child's character of Reacher although I agree with other readers - one does have to read the action and interpret it as OTT movie scenes. Still good fun.
