When I find a good book, I want to share it with everybody.

In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson.

I like his writing and especially his humor, and this book has me laughing out loud.

Its a few years old and maybe many have read it, but if you haven't, give it a try.

Let us know if you laugh out loud.

Gee, Tony, getting bossy, there, dude.

Can you give us a brief synopsis of plot? Thanks!

No plot. He goes to Australia. Views the country, the people, the history, some of the local insanity.

TY -- Does sound like a fun read, especially since I do love the Aussies. Will check it out.

I was in a bookstore the other day and for some reason remembered seeing the recommendation here for "In a Sunburned Country" so I bought it.

My husband is reading it now and to answer the question in the original post -- Yes, he is laughing out loud.

He also now thinks that we need to go to Australia.

This may just be the most expensive book I have ever bought.
