I agree about the Ken Follett Trilogy, Fall of Giants, Winter of the World and Edge of Eternity.
Also I recommend the series by Jeffrey Archer, The Clifton Chronicles. 4 of the 5 are out starting with Only Time Will Tell, Sins of The Father, Best Kept Secret, Be Careful What You Wish For and Mightier Than The Sword (releasing 2/2015). |

Series Recommendations Please
I'm considering many of your recommendations...especially that Inspector Gamache one. [emoji4] But I wanted to ask also...
Anybody read the Prey series by John Sanford? If so, opinions? |

Love Sanford. Love the Prey series.
Another good series in this genre is the Lincoln Rhymes series by Deaver. To me, this is the best of what I call the murder-mayhem genre.

I am almost through the Shardlake series by C.J. Sansom. If you like historical fiction this has a lawyer turned de textile in Tudor England with very good character development.
Another book coming out in March..can't wait! |
