My copy just arrived yesterday. I'm looking forward to a really good read. Thanks for the review without details.

I would like to thank everyone who recommended "South of Broad". I had downloaded a sample to my kindle a few months ago, but never bothered to read it. Now that I have finally started to read it, I think it is wonderful. I am in awe of his use of language. What a lovely book.

IMHO if you like SOB, then you have to read them all....take your time this last one took him a number of years to write.

I'd suggest starting with Prince of Tides, then Beach Music, then the rest.

I'm half way through Prince of Tides. Very good, of course.
