Thumbs up The Art of Racing in the Rain. (2019)

The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019) - Rotten Tomatoes

Well the audiences really liked it on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics not so much.

I am more in line with the audiences. Hardly an Oscar winner but the dog is philosophical and talks a lot. My kind of pooch.

I have seen the play, read the book, now have seen the movie. To me, it is an Oscar winner. Warmed my heart and was on my mind for days after. Makes you wonder, what do our canine kids really think?

I enjoyed seeing the world through the eyes of a dog. Especially how he grew to love the wife and protected the baby. Very good movie. Still brings tears to my eyes. You knew from the start the dog was dying, but it still had a happy ending. That's not a spoiler.
